Hey! I am Suami Cavallo and I’m a professional kiteboarder. I fell in love with the sport when I was only eleven and since that day my life totally changed. I am originally from Italy and now I chose as my home Cabarete, Dominican Republic aka the dream spot. This is where I learned how to kiteboard thanks to my mom, my biggest inspiration. I spent the first 10 years of my life travelling all around the world and I first came to Dominican Republic when I was only four but was scared of all water sport. Now I am 15 and staying 24/7 kiting and having fun with friends. Every day there is something new to learn in this magic place! In 2014 I competed for the first time in Master of the Ocean and after getting 1st place I decided all I wanted to do for the rest of my life was kiting and travelling. Later on I got sponsored by Da Silva Kiteboarding which now I am still proudly representing. I won the Dominican Champion title in girls category twice now! I also competed and sometimes brought the trophy home in national and international contests outside the country. My biggest achievement was to pass to the main event during the Mai Tai Kitesurfing Invitational in Cabarete last year. I ended up 8th in the ranking and I am waiting for new contests coming soon!
